Over the decades, Givenchy continued to innovate and create new designs that blended elegance and modernity. After Hubert de Givenchy retired in 1995, a succession of designers took over the helm including John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Julien Macdonald, and Riccardo Tisci. In 2017, Clare Waight Keller became the creative director and the first woman to lead the fashion house. Under her leadership, Givenchy has continued to create elegant and modern designs that honor the brand’s rich history.
