President Biden Talks Clean Energy at Minnesota Hydrogen Electrolyzer Production Facility

by Nono

On Tuesday, President Biden visited a hydrogen electrolyzer production facility in Minnesota to discuss the importance of investing in clean energy. The president’s visit comes as his administration pushes a $2 trillion infrastructure package, which includes significant funding for clean energy initiatives.
The facility, located in St. Paul, Minnesota, is operated by 3M and produces hydrogen electrolyzers, which are used to create hydrogen gas by splitting water molecules. This hydrogen gas can then be used to power vehicles, homes, and businesses, producing zero emissions in the process.
During his speech at the facility, President Biden emphasized the need to invest in clean energy to ensure the United States is competitive with other countries that are already making significant strides in this area.
“We have a crisis. We need to act,” the president said. “We have China and other countries moving incredibly fast to lead the world in clean energy technologies. We used to lead in the creation of these technologies. We can do it again. We must do it again.”
The president’s remarks were well-received by the audience, which included 3M employees and executives, as well as local politicians and clean energy advocates.
